Leigh Davis

Through her work at CASA, Leighworks daily to bring together her passion for community, relationship building, and advocacy. Leigh says:  “For not being a native of Texarkana, I easily became passionate about our community and its strong philanthropic roots. Using my strengths in negotiation, relationship building and advocacy, I delved head first into volunteering with many great charities over the course of 20 years, ending up devoting my gifts to Court Appointed Special Advocates and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center.  With new insight into our community gained through Leadership Texarkana, I am better equipped to strengthen the health and well-being of children so that they will be happy, healthy, strong individuals for the future. My ultimate quest is to help rebuild and strengthen more families’ lives, to break the cycle of future violence.”

As an active and engaged member of the Texarkana community, Leigh’s public service interests are further demonstrated through her work with the United Way of Texarkana, Texarkana Junior League, and Kiwanis Club of Texarkana. In addition to her professional and civic accomplishments, Leigh is the owner and operator of a small business, and loves to spend time with son, family and friends.
