Uniquely among other city halls, the satellite office for the Small Business Development Center SBDC of Northeast Texas in located in Texarkana, Texas City Hall on the 2nd floor. This allows small business prospects to set an appointment with the SDBC, then go to the 3rd floor to figure out what permits and guidelines they would need to follow. They are also able to get help with identifying available resources in the area from the Planning and Community Development Department and the Economic Development Office on the 4th floor. There is a big push on supporting small businesses, by helping them tap into the available resources in the area.
