Terry Roberts is Leading the Way in Texarkana USA
As a lifelong resident of Texarkana, Arkansas, Terry graduated from Arkansas High School, class of 1990. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration at East Texas State University. Currently, he serves as the Assistant Mayor of Texarkana, Arkansas Ward 1. He strives to offer effective leadership by bringing people together for an inclusive government. Terry serves on many committees and boards including the Economic Development Committee, the Public Safety Advisory Council for Arkansas Municipal League, the Solid Waste Management Committee, the Ark-Tex Council of Governments board of directors, and the Emergency Medical Systems Committee.
Terry cites his mom as being an instrumental part of his public service and community involvement. He is a member of Life House Church and has two fur babies, Grady and Mattie. He volunteers and supports numerous organizations including Texarkana Animal Care & Adoption Center, Texarkana Arkansas Recreation Center, Ozan-Inghram Iron Mountain Neighborhood Center, Hospice of Texarkana, and I am pretty sure there are more. Terry Roberts is an exceptional person who has such a kind, generous, and caring heart.
Coming January 2024 at the Truman Arnold Center, he will be receiving a leadership award at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Purpose Driven Acts of Kindness Gala.
Thank you, Terry, for leading the way in Texarkana, USA.
