Did You Know: the AHS Band has been named the AAAAA Arkansas State Honors Ensemble

Speaking of Second to None… Did You Know? The AHS Band has been named the AAAAA Arkansas State Honors Ensemble For the first time in the history of the Arkansas High School band program, the AHS band, directed by Gary Meggs, was chosen for highest honors by the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association. They will represent Texarkana Arkansas School District at the All-State Music Conference in February 2019, which will take place in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where they will play five pieces.
