School administrators are nominated and chosen by their peers within their regions and based on exemplary performance and outstanding leadership. Who’s the Secondary Principal of the year for the entire huge state of Texas? Tim Lambert – Principal of TISD’s Texas Middle School!
Lambert has been Principal of Texas Middle School since June 2013. He began his career in education in 1993 and has served within elementary and secondary schools in our area as a teacher, coach and administrator. Lambert served as Principal for Hughes Springs Elementary from 2002-2005, Special Education Director for the Cass County Cooperative from 2005-2008, Principal for Daingerfield High School from 2008-2011 and Principal of Atlanta High School from 2011-2013, where he was named the TASSP Region VIII High School Principal of the Year in 2013. Lambert served for ten years as a non-commissioned officer for the U.S. Air Force Reserves stationed at Barksdale Air Force.
Tim is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Texarkana.
