TAMU-T Student Honored for Excellence

TAMU–T student Ta’Mar Coby has been honored as Student Programmer of the Year for the south central section of the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities, competing with candidates from New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. A Sociology major, Ta’Mar was the first undergraduate PLACE presenter at TAMUT, as well as being named First Year Experience coach of the year, President of Campus Activities Board, and a Communications Specialist in the Student Government Association at TAMUT. Ta’Mar is also a member of the Sociology Club, and in the eyes of TAMU-T Sociology faculty, Dr. Kimberly Murray, “a wonderful person on top of all of her achievements!” Congratulations to Ta’Mar Coby!
