Over SIXTY applicants from around the country contended for the position of Music Director/Conductor of the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra

The Texarkana Symphony Orchestra Executive Director recently provided the LT Class with authentic reality regarding our community and its assets by reporting that there were over SIXTY applicants from around the country contending for the position of Music Director/Conductor of the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra. i.e., there were SIXTY orchestra professionals around the country who were so impressed with the opportunity of working in Texarkana USA – and with the TSO, that they put their hats in the ring. TSO’s key leadership position was awarded to Conductor Philip Mann, and given the competition, yet another outstanding asset in Texarkana USA!
