Leader Profile: Mary Wormington
Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity – Texarkana
As a Certified Non-profit Professional, Mary is the first paid Director of Texarkana’s Habitat for Humanity Texarkana. Currently she is a member of the Texarkana Homeless Coalition, the BancorpSouth Community Advisory Council, and the newly formed Census 2020 Central Count Committee. Mary is a Charter Member of Texarkana Sunrise Rotary Club and one who “walks the talk,” living out the Rotary motto “Service Above Self,” currently serving as President for the third time in 20 years. Mary is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Texarkana, a graduate of the Texarkana Texas Policing Experience, as well as being a Boy Scout of America Wood Badge Leader.
Mary was recognized by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas with the Community Builder Award. Mary is proud “Nana” to a Senior Airman Grandson, and a two and one half year old GrandGirl.
