Jon Robert was born and raised in the Texarkana area. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Administration. Jon Robert is a veteran in the US Army and has over 5 years’ experience in the hardware and building materials industry.

JR’s Building Supplies opened its door in April 2019 as a full-service hardware and building materials store. JR’s began with a desire to provide the Texarkana Community with a more convenient alternative to the big box stores–stepping up in our community and inspiring the rising generation of entrepreneurs in Texarkana!
