A Program of Leadership Texarkana

Speaking of Excellence, Did You Know?

The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) has named Patti O’Bannon, Nash Elementary School Principal, as the Region VIII TEPSAN of the Year. She is one of only 20 TEPSANs of the Year selected for the entire state of Texas.  Sharing her award-winning and nationally recognized leadership of TISD’s Nash Leader in Me campus, Patti is a leader of educational leaders.  With over 5,900 members, the Texas organization’s hallmark is educational leaders learning with and from each other, and has served Texas PK-8 school leaders since 1917.  Patti is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Texarkana.

Further reflecting district superlatives, Nash administrator Elodia Witterstaetter was selected as the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association TEPSA Region VIII Assistant Principal of the Year!  Witterstaetter is a 2019 Leadership Texarkana graduate, and was named as TISD’s Westlawn Elementary School Principal at the district’s Board Meeting on May 19th!

One of a kind and SECOND TO NONE! – Celebrating another Texarkana superlative! Congratulations to Patti and Elodia!
