Stepping Up to Lead the Way – Texarkana Chamber of Commerce

 The 2020 Wilbur Award for service by an organization was presented to the Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce, which provides events, services and gatherings to bring together present and future leaders to address challenges of businesses and community.  Texarkana Chamber of Commerce has expanded training and leadership for the community, including a day-long event, Engaging Texarkana, to assist organizations in gaining knowledge in managing business. In addition to ribbon cuttings and economic developments, their programs include: Lunch and Learns, Speed Networking, Small Business Expos, Veterans’ Luncheon, and a Greater Texarkana College Career Fair. The Chamber also promotes Business to Business networking and is involved in work force training. The Chamber of Commerce hosts Joint City Meetings quarterly and hosts political leaders to educate Texarkana.
