Texarkana Gazette racks up awards, including Photo of the Year, in Arkansas Press Association’s “virtual convention.”

Texarkana Gazette won nine first place awards, as well as placed second overall in General Excellence in the APA’s Better Newspaper Contest. First place awards included Photo of the Year, Sports Feature Story, and Best Front Page Design. 

The Gazette also won five second place awards, four third place awards, and three honorable mentions. 

Awards were announced on Sept. 26 at the APA convention, held virtually every year. The Gazette competed in the high-circulation daily newspaper division. Learn more!
