Russell Sparks – 2021 Wilbur Award Honoree for Community Leadership

As owner of High Tech Signs, Russell guides his employees with strong leadership and compassion. His creative ideas helped keep his company sustained during 2020 through the initial COVID-19 Pandemic. He encourages and embraces challenges with innovative thinking.  Beyond his own business, Russell Sparks is recognized for his selflessness in giving his time and resources to help his community and individuals in need. During 2020, he donated his time to help Nail A Stud for Habitat for Humanity, volunteered at the Animal Care & Adoption Center of Texarkana, and numerous other projects.  

In addition, Russell has been an active leader in the Greater Texarkana Young Professionals organization, the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce and as a member and leader in the state of Texas Sign Association Member; Russell was named 2018 Texas Young Professional of the Year  and the 2020 Texarkana Oaklawn Rotary Member of the Year.  In his spare time, Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. Congratulations Russell and THANKS for stepping up to lead the way for excellence in Texarkana!
