1. Stateline Public Meeting

The meeting is set for June 29th from 6 to 8 PM at the Arkansas Convention Center where we will have a presentation and solicit public input on a multitude of factors. Please make plans to attend!
2. The Grunch: Silvermoon Children’s Theatre MiniShows
June 28 – July 2
A MiniShow is a week-long process of putting together a ‘public-ready show’ in just 5 days. Kids will learn how to explore different characters, design and construct costumes and set, learn and practice theatre etiquette and stage direction, move their bodies in fun choreography, prepare and memorize lines and learn skills to help present lines to an audience, get out of the box with fun and creative improv games, etc… all while having fun, making new friends, and using teamwork to put it all together. 3. Tween Ozaria Video Game Designing Camp
July 5 – 8
Introducing our Tween Ozaria Video Game Designing Camp! In this camp, students will experience immersive gameplay with text-based programming using Python & JavaScript. Students will also engage in an adventure game in which their knowledge of computer science advances with the storyline. 5. Texarkana Public Library Introduces Big Rig Takeover
Wednesday, July 7
The Texarkana Public Library is having our first in person program this summer and we want to invite you and your children out for our very first BIG RIG TAKEOVER. Come and explore and discover how a fire engine puts out fires and take a look inside and ambulance. This event will be held on July 7th with the Fire Engine and July 14th with the LifeNet Ambulance. We will use the Parking Lot behind the library on Elm Street to give the kids and Big Rigs room to maneuver. Learn more!

8. Visit Southern Tropics
Southern Tropics Shaved Ice was established in 1988, by owners Jim and Stephanie Rainey. A seasonal business, they are open from March 1st thru September of each year. They are located off Stateline Ave., behind Holiday Bowl, at 116 E 35th Street. Starting off in an 8’x10′ little green building, the Rainey’s have perfected the art of shaved ice as the decades rolled past. Learn more here!
