Caitlin Hernandez is Leading the Way in TXK

Caitlin Hernandez, a Texas High graduate of 2015, is actively dedicated to the education of the children in our community. Caitlin graduated in 2 ½ years from ETBU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion and International studies. In the Fall of 2018, Caitlin started her first year of teaching at Kilpatrick Elementary while studying to receive her Master’s Degree. Caitlin says, “I will be returning to Arkansas State University this year to begin my dyslexic certification. I hope to continue to learn more on how to help students better.” Caitlin is an active member and youth pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Texarkana. Caitlin says, “ I find it very warming to be at a church that is so accepting of all types of people. My hope is to continue to reach out within the community and find more service opportunities for my students in the youth group.” Caitlin’s passion for the education and spiritual growth of others makes such a positive impact on the future of our community.
