Texarkana Leader – Sandy Varner

Sandy Varner has been the executive director at Temple since 2010. Under her leadership, this 70 year old non-profit organization has undergone many changes. Realizing that they had far outgrown their building on Walnut street, they set their sites on a new building. Sandy, along with the staff and board of directors were able to raise the money they needed to purchase and renovate the law offices at 1710 Moore’s lane. Opening at their new location in December of 2019, the building houses an impressive staff of over 22 therapists and 8 administrative employees. Temple is proud to offer the only ABA autism treatment therapy in the area under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Still on the grow, Sandy and her staff are readying for a 1,500 square foot expansion of their already beautiful state of the art therapy space and hope to be completed by the fall of 2022.
