Laura McDowell is Leading the Way in Texarkana USA

Laura McDowell is the founder of Pathway Resource Center, which supplies pregnancy support to those in need of guidance while navigating having a child. She also serves as director of operations at Washington Community Development Center (WCDC), which is a community outreach program initiated by the 501(c)(3) organization, I Am a Hero, Inc., with the purpose of cultivating more equipped community members–specifically guiding today’s youth to blossom into the leaders of Texarkana’s future.

Serving as mentor to around sixty children who consistently utilize the academic, entrepreneurial, athletic, and spiritual resources supplied by WCDC, Laura embodies what it means to invest back into the town that she calls home.
