Andrew Johnson is leading the Way in Texarkana USA. Andrew Johnson serves as the Adult Ministry Pastor at Heritage Church in Texarkana, Texas. In addition to his pastoral duties, Andrew passionate about inspiring others to understand their value and live out their full potential in life. One way he accomplished this most recently is by playing a pioneering role in launching F3 Texarkana, a free community-based men’s workout group.

Andrew’s dedication extends beyond the church walls. He also works as a freelance graphic designer and devotes his time and energy to supporting several nonprofit organizations and churches. In the past year, Andrew spearheaded a project to build toddler beds for For the Sake of One, a local nonprofit. Through his leadership, volunteers built and donated 13 beds in a little over an hour, making a tangible difference in the lives of families in need.

A native of Oklahoma, Andrew moved to Texarkana and joined the Heritage church staff in March 2020 after 14 years of ministry in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, where he held various roles including worship director, student director, and art director. In each of these positions, Andrew’s primary goal was to inspire people to love and live for God. He emphasizes the importance of deep, personal relationships that encourage mutual growth in love and good deeds, as reflected in Hebrews 10:24.

Above all, Andrew is a loving husband and father who is passionate about his family. He and his wife, Allison, were married in 2005 and are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary this year. Together, they have three children—Lydia, Abby, and Elias—and a Goldendoodle named Toby.
