Darren Higgs is the Texas Area Director at LifeNet, where he has dedicated over 30 years of service, starting at St. Michael’s EMS. Throughout his career, Darren has held a variety of key roles, from Paramedic, to Director of Operations and Operations Manager, gaining extensive experience in all aspects of emergency medical services. If it’s at LifeNet in Texarkana, Darren has likely overseen it at some point.

In his current role as Area Director, Darren is responsible for the daily operations of LifeNet’s Texas division, which includes Red River County, Morris County, Bowie County, and the cities of Texarkana, Texas, and Arkansas. Known for his humility and leadership, Darren always goes above and beyond for his team, consistently putting others before himself.

For over three decades, Darren has been a pillar of the Texarkana community, serving on ambulances and building strong relationships with EMS, fire, and police departments. His dedication and service are widely respected, and LifeNet is proud to have him as a part of their team.
