Texarkana GETS it!
Jerry Kenney of the TLL Temple Foundation celebrated Texarkana USA for its outstanding “collaborative capacity” during remarks made to a large audience of Texarkana’s community and business leaders at Leadership Texarkana’s annual Lunch with Leaders this week. Kenney shared his informed perspectives that our community’s ease and willingness for working together for big wins is a rarely-perceived reality for any community, but especially so in the East Texas communities served and supported by the TLL Temple Foundation.
Kenney credited our “collaborative capacity” to the widespread ability of our community and the leaders of our major institutions to gather and work together, with a common language and processes, a phenomenon he attributed to our community’s commitment to training in Strategic Doing.
To be lauded as a community that “GETS it!” is a superlative worth ALL of our celebration!!!
Having led the LIfT Strategic Doing Initiative in Texarkana USA since 2019, we at Leadership Texarkana believe that one key reason we can celebrate this superlative in 2025 is because it has been leaders in the highest positions of our institutions who have embraced this process by participating themselves in the Strategic Doing training: learning, applying and championing it firsthand.
