The Leadership Texarkana class met this week to explore the cultural riches we have downtown. Even though many of those in the class have lived in Texarkana for years, they were surprised at just how little they actually knew about our arts and historic district.
This weekend, our friends at LNK TXK hosted Destination Downtown, and attendees had a chance to visit some of our incredible businesses and explore nightlife and restaurant options. This event has grown exponentially in just a few years, and we love knowing that leaders in our community have stepped up to make downtown a vibrant part of our community.

P.S. While we don’t feel them now, we know cooler temperatures are coming soon. It might be a good time to clean out your closets and donate your gently worn jackets, coats, and gloves to those in our community who would love to have them this fall and winter.
