Leadership Spotlight – Ryan Wall
Ryan Wall is helping shape the future of athletics at Texas A&M University–Texarkana.
As Director of Athletics, Wall has overseen a period of historic growth for TAMUT Athletics. During the 2024–25 academic year, the department added men’s and women’s bowling, men’s and women’s golf, and expanded track and field/cross country programs — bringing more than 100 new student-athletes to campus.
Wall previously served as Head Coach of the TAMUT Men’s Basketball program, where he quickly established a winning culture and gained national recognition.
Under his leadership, TAMUT Athletics continues preparing for another major milestone: the launch of football in Fall 2027 as part of the university’s transition to NCAA Division II and entry into the Lone Star Conference.
Wall earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications and master’s degree in Education Administration from Texas Christian University and remains committed to building opportunities for student-athletes both on and off the field.
