Check out all the movies, books and other treasures avail through the Texarkana Public Library! Go online – reserve your choices. Drive through and pick up!

3. Cinemark Re-Opening
Friday, August 21
Texarkana Cinemark Theater will reopen on Friday, August 21! According to Cinemark certain areas of the facility will be cleaned every 30 minutes. Any seat that is occupied will be sanitized again before the next showtime, as well as adjacent seats, handrails and children’s booster seats. Read more here.

5. Harry Potter Month – Wizarding World Party
Saturday, August 22
Join us at the P. J. Ahern Home for a fun adult party celebrating Harry Potter Month! Grab your house gear and dress in your best costume for a fun night of Hogwarts inspired cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Guests can paint their own goblet to take home! Tickets are $35 each for non-TMS member, $30 each for TMS Members, and $60 for couples. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Space is limited so get your ticket today! The fun starts at 6 p.m. on August 22 at the P. J. Ahern Home, 403 Laurel Street, Texarkana, USA. Remember: this is a party for grown-ups with a love for Harry Potter.
