Adison Cummings
As a student at TASD, Adison Cummings participated in the Interact Club (sponsored by Oaklawn Rotary), helped with services projects including Night to Shine Special Needs Prom, Salvation Army Angel Tree, Race for the Cure, CASA Color Run, and the Dragon Boat Races. He has participated in Special Olympics events and monthly attends dances for adults with special needs held at Elk’s Lodge. He has over 350 volunteer community service hours in Texarkana and with his church. He has held leadership positions in Interact Club, Quizbowl, History Club, NHS, Fellowship of Christian Students, Student Council, Robotics Team, Youth 2 Leaders, PRIDE Academy and has been an instrumental part of Razorback TV News Teams. Adison participated in Leadership Texarkana’s Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Leaders program, the Rotary Speech Contest and was selected to participate in Arkansas Boys State.
Classified as an AP Scholar and Distinction, Adison graduated with honors as an AP Capstone. He is a natural leader and hard worker who also cares and is respectful toward others to always ‘do the right thing.’
