The Scholars of Texarkana

The Scholars is a non-profit youth entrepreneurship organization, founded in 2014 by Chiquita Burks and Rhonda Dolberry. It mentor students ages 9-18, who attend the four Texarkana Districts (TASD, TISD, LESD, and PGSD). The annual induction ceremony, “Meet The Scholars”, was held at Texas A&M University-Texarkana for the fourth year. The theme for this year’s event: “Find A Voice In A Whisper”, highlighting a total of 15 inductees into The Scholars’ Program.
