Texarkana’s Fischer Scores Major Invite After Sunday’s Win
Zack Fischer earned a spot in next summer’s Open Championship earlier this week when he won the Visa Argentine Open at the Nordelta Golf Club in Buenos Aires.
With the one-shot victory, the Texas High graduate earns an exemption into the 2023 Open at Royal Liverpool.
Fischer, a Korn Ferry Tour member who was playing in his first PGA Tour Latino America event, has three top three finishes in 116 career starts. He was also a Q-School medalist in both 2013 and 2021.
