Kayleigh Moreland – Winner of the 2024 goTXK Design Contest

Native Texarkanian Kayleigh Moreland wears many hats, including–work as a freelance artist (applying her B.F.A from Savannah College of Art & Design), as well as a social media manager, personal assistant – and more!   As part of her work since returning home, Kayleigh has been involved a lot with all that’s been going on downtown, spending her weekdays there, running behind the scenes of the 1923 Banana Club.  Kayleigh has “loved seeing Downtown Texarkana come to life” and has been delighted to be helping to make it such a special place.

 
Kayleigh says she was inspired to participate in the 2025 goTXK Design Contest “because of recommendations of friends who believe in me!”  Applying schooled art and design expertise as well in commercial photography and painting, Kayleigh “aims for her work to always have an element of fun and is frequently inspired by the process of making ideas come to life or by exploring the imagery from the subconscious.”
