Texarkana’s Cooper Tire Milestone is Second to None!The Cooper Tire and Rubber Company in Texarkana, Arkansas has produced its 400-millionth tire, the most produced by a single plant in the company’s history.  For perspective, Cooper Plant Manager Scott Cole said that If stacked end to end, 400 million tires would reach eight trips around the world. A Texarkana economic anchor for the past 55 years, the Cooper Tire plant employs 1700, with room for more! As part of the celebration – and reflecting the company’s to sustained excellence, Cooper Tire also handed out gift certificates for a set of tires to 19 regional educators for their demonstrated excellence.
