1. Texarkana Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Series – TAMUT
Monday, November 11 | 7:00PM

David Fung will perform Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov piano trios as a part of the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Series.
Concert is free and open to the public. Advanced reserved seating (front two rows) is $20 per concert or $80 for the full series. For more details or to order tickets, call the TSO office at 870.773.3401.

2. A Wrinkle In Time – Stilwell Theatre on TC Campus
November 14-17 

Presented by TexRep in partnership with the Texarkana College Department of Drama, one of literature’s most enduring young heroines, Meg Murray, is back—braces, stubbornness and all! Once again, she’s joining forces with Mrs. Whatsit, Charles Wallace, Calvin O’Keefe and more to battle the forces of evil so she can rescue her father, save humanity and find herself. In the end, we know two things for sure.

2. There IS such as thing as a tesseract.

3. 4 States Regional Art Club Reception – TAMUT
Thursday, November 14 | 5:00PM

Join us for a reception honoring the Four States Regional Art Club’s Exhibition. The show will run Nov 14th-Jan 15th. The reception will be Thursday, Nov 14th, 2019, 5-7pm. There will be a golf cart to assist from the big parking lot. Learn more!

4. Chamber Veterans Luncheon – TAMUT
Thursday, November 14 | 11:00AM

Lunch is free for Veterans and $30 for others. The program includes a word from Cpl. Jacob P. Schick USMC (Ret.).

Jacob Schick, Chief Executive Officer for 22KILL, is a third generation Marine who epitomizes service and sacrifice. After a triple-stacked tank mine detonated below his vehicle in Al Anbar Province, Iraq in 2004, Jake suffered compound fractures in his left leg and left arm; multiple skin, ligament bone losses; varying burns; partial loss of his left hand and arm; amputation below the knee of his right leg, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

5. A History of Spring Lake Park
Saturday, November 16 | 2:00PM

Join us at the Ace of Clubs Carriage House on November 16th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a presentation by Dr. Tom Wagy, Brande Hewett, Chris Howell, and Mindy Zwirn of their research on the history of Spring Lake Park. Discussion and Questions to follow the presentation. Learn more. 

6. 5th Annual Worthy of Warmth 5K 
Saturday, November 16 | 8:30AM
Help us warm up Texarkana! All entry fee proceeds will be used to purchase coats for people in need in the local community. We will also be excepting coat and Bible donations at this event as well.

Entry Fee – $25. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd overall male and female for both 5k & 10k races. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners in each age division for both 5k & 10k races as well. Purchase tickets.
