8. 1st Thursday at the Museum – History of Texarkana’s Streetcar System
Thursday, January 2
Join us at 6:00 p.m. for a presentation on the history of the Texarkana Streetcar system. Learn about the evolution of the system from its beginning, from mule-drawn cars to electric cars and their eventual replacement by city busses and automobiles. Admission: $5 at the door – 202 E. 9. First Steps in the Sand and Play-doh, Legos and Books

Come engage in a hands-on learning experience in the sandtray. You will discover a new way to help your clients process and express their feelings through a safe and transformative method. You will learn the materials for sandtray, how to set up a room or travel kit, and ways to process with clients from age 2 to 100.
