PG Student Awarded National Scholastic Art Gold Medal

Pleasant Grove High School Junior Aubrey Oller received the 2020 National Scholastic Art Gold Medal in March. In order to receive this medal, students go through a rigorous adjudication by the western division and then continue to compete against their peers at the national level where they are judged by esteemed artists and writers.  Aubrey’s work was awarded the highest award that a student work can receive in the nation and will be given at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Scholastic is the oldest and most prestigious art competition in the nation. Among the Scholastic alumni winners are Andy Warhol, Lena Dunham, Robert Redford, Zac Posen, Sylvia Plath, Truman Capote, and Steven King.  We celebrate Aubrey for her dedication and talent and for representing the Pleasant Grove High School Art Department at the national level.

CONGRATULATIONS to Aubrey!
