1. Murder & Mayhem Walking Tour
Saturday, July 25

Did you know that Texarkana was once the perfect example of the Wild West? Texarkana has a dark history of murder, crimes, bootleggers, and more! Take a walking tour around our historic Texarkana learning about some of the bigger stories of murder and mayhem that once pledged our city. The tour will be on July 25 at 7:30 pm. The tour will be $10 per person and $5 for TMS members. Pre-registration is suggested but not required. Register at www.TexarkanaMuseums.org/Events.
 

2. Paul Norton Farewell Drive-Up
Tuesday, July 21

TISD will be hosting a farewell drive-up for Superintendent Paul Norton this Tuesday, July 21 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Participating vehicles are asked to line up in the right-hand lane on Summerhill Road going South. At the intersection of Summerhill & Kennedy, turn right. You will then see the designated entrance for our Farewell event.
 

3. Online Yoga with Lynnel
Our next session of Online Yoga with Lynnel is LIVE to register!

This classical yoga course is offered year-round, and is appropriate for all ages and body types. Come and practice with a like-minded group as you nurture the roots of a healthy life-style together. Taught by Lynnel Westerman, E-RYT, Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor, member of Kripalu Yoga and Ayurveda Association.
 

4. Volcano Science Experiments
Saturday, July 25

For our last adventure on Discovery Place’sHawaiian Vacation, we will look at the dangerous side of Hawaii with Volcano Science Experiments. We will be creating volcanos in three different experiments. This will be a great experiment for kids and adults to learn about cool science experiments, volcanos, and chemical reactions. The eruption will begin on July 25th from 2:00-4:00 PM. This event will be $5 per person and FREE for TMS Members and children 3 and under.

7. Virtual Jr. Rangers Camp
July 27- July 31

The WICL and National Parks have come together to create a virtual Jr. Rangers Camp that will take place July 27-31st. It will be a great way for kids to learn more about parks and nature. The registration sheet can be found on their website or pinned at the top of the Discovery Facebook page.
