KTXK granted approval to continue as regional asset through 2029
On July 22, 2021, KTXK was granted a license renewal by the Federal Communications Commission to serve the public interest as a public trustee until August 1, 2029.KTXK 91.5 FM is a National Public Radio and American Public Media affiliate, a community-oriented, non-commercial radio station licensed to Texarkana College. With 100,000 watts of power, the station serves the three state areas of Northeast Texas, Southwest Arkansas and Southeast Oklahoma.
KTXK’s mission is to broadcast programs that you will not hear anywhere else in the area, and features a variety of music, news, sports, cultural and public affairs programs – all detailed in the program guide for the public’s enjoyment.
