2. Scout-O-Rama
Saturday, April 30
Scout-O-Rama returns to Spring Lake Park! This event will be free and open to the public on April 30th from 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with the opening ceremony starting at 11:30 AM. Activities include the Pinewood Derby, Blacksmiths, and Bladesmiths Chili Cook-Off, Ax Throwing, Pedal Cars, Car & Motorcycle Show, and much more.

3. Texarkana Farmer’s Market Opening Day

4. Boomtown Border City Steak Cookoff
Saturday, April 30
Calling all teams! Are you a steak or BBQ aficionado?! We’re looking for YOU! Dot’s Ace Hardware in Texarkana is hosting our first ever SCA sanctioned steak cookoff! We will be awarding over $3,000 in cash prizes to the best steaks and chicken wings. Anyone with a grill can enter! Entry fee for steaks $160, chicken wings $50.
