Printmaker and Paper Cut artist Tammy Harrington will take you through her process and how you an infuse your heritage into the art you create. After 30 minutes of presenting and a 15 minute Q&A opportunity we will all go over to a downtown restaurant for refreshments with the artist. 7. Bunco and a Fashion Show

The Sportsplex by HealthCARE Express is proud to present a fun new event for a great cause! We will be hosting Bunco and a Fashion show on Friday, May 20th starting at 4:30pm. This poolside party will be benefiting our friends at CASA of Texarkana. CASA has been helping local children since 1990 by advocating on their behalf with amazing volunteers who provide hope and healing to abused and neglected children. Learn more!

8. Haunted Texarkana Ghost Walk

Tours run Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm the last 2 weeks of each month. Private tours available all year round. Groups 10 or more qualify for a discount. Learn more!

9. Greater Texarkana Autism Awareness Fun Run
Saturday, May 21
5K and 2 blocks Fun Run in downtown Texarkana supporting The Greater Texarkana Autism Awareness charity. In addition to the 2 runs, we will have a car and truck show, motorcycle show, vendors, and food trucks, as well as a cornhole tournament at 5pm. Race registration starts at 7am at the corner of Olive and Front street. The race starts at 8 – learn more!

10. Downtown Photo Walk
Saturday, May 21
Texarkana Museums System will be hosting this event in honor of National Photography Month in May. Come learn a couple of tips and tricks, then we will walk around Downtown Texarkana and take some photos of prominent buildings and murals. The Scott Joplin mural, the Grim Hotel sign and the Kress murals are a couple of ideas. Must bring your own camera. Be sure to wear your walking shoes as well! Learn more.
