Natalie Haywood is Leading the Way in Texarkana USA
Natalie is a proven asset to Texarkana through her work and leadership at the Chamber of Commerce, where she not only directs award-winning communications about Texarkana USA, but also plans events like the recent Women in Business conference. Words that describe her are precisionist, respectable, logical, leader, practical, and loyal. In 2013, she received the “Crashing Through” award while participating in the Dale Carnegie course.
Prior to her employment at the Chamber, Natalie worked as a graphic designer at Four States Living Magazine, and as a marketing coordinator at TSD Logistics in Nash, Texas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2011 and is a proud alumnus of Texas High in Texarkana.
As a recent graduate of the Leadership Texarkana Class of 2022, where does Natalie see herself in 10 years? She wants to continue being a leader in the Texarkana community. In reflecting on her experience in Leadership Texarkana, she said, “I have seen firsthand the love people have for Texarkana. I’ve always loved this city, but it was nice seeing others so passionate about it. I want to continue to share my commitment and passion to the city and participate in projects where I can. She is currently working with a group of her fellow LT Class participants to further develop the Activated Alleyways opportunity for downtown Texarkana.
Natalie and her family are residents of Texarkana, AR, where she spends her free time chasing after two kids who are raiding the pantry or riding motorcycles.
