Red River Army Depot is the sole provider of the M1 Abrams main battle tank road wheel.

There are just over 10,000 M1 Abrams Main battle tanks in the world. Each tank has 24 road wheels that supports the weight of the tank on the track shoe. The tanks vary in weight from 55 tons to over 70 tons, without add on armor. Each road wheel supports 2- 3 tons each.  Right now there are over 240,000 road wheels installed on tanks throughout the world.  Every one of them was manufactured right here in Texarkana USA by Red River Army Depot.
