Texarkana Is Home to An Olympic Athlete!

Texarkana is known by many as a hotbed for professional athletes. However, did you know that there is an Olympic athlete from Texarkana? The Olympian’s name is Jarrion Lawson and he graduated from Liberty Eylau High school.

Jarrion then went to the University of Arkansas where he won multiple NCAA long jump titles. Jarrion Lawson qualified and represented the United States during the 2016 summer Olympic games in Rio De Janeiro.
