Clayton Wisdom is Leading the Way in Texarkana USA

Congratulations to Clayton Wisdom, who has been named Texarkana Market President for State Bank. Wisdom is a University of Arkansas graduate and has served the Texarkana area as a community banker for fourteen years.  Since joining State Bank in 2021, Wisdom has demonstrated the leadership qualities that make him an outstanding asset to State Bank and to the community. 

State Bank CEO, Joe Nichols, expressed his excitement regarding the appointment of the new Market President by saying, “Clayton is an outstanding banker with a proven track record of serving customers and his co-workers. He is very familiar with local markets and has the skills, experience, and passion needed to help our customers, team members, and community thrive”. 

At the conclusion of his Leadership Texarkana Class program in May 2023, Clayton shared that his mission as a community leader in Texarkana USA was to inspire, empower and serve the members of our community, while working collaboratively towards common vision to create positive change and sustainable development; he says: “I believe in always looking to the positives in life and our community.”  Clayton’s active advocacy for Texarkana’s future growth is grounded in his celebration of our community’s cultural history; he knows the importance of developing quality connected “sticky” places in our community that can attract us all.
