Texarkana Water Utilities

Starting in 2023, the former Texarkana Water Utilities Administration Coordinator Pam White and the Texarkana Water Utilities IT Admin Clerk Michelle Fannin took on the challenge of improving the appearance of a drab, government downtown building: The TWU Main Office at 801 Wood Street and the IT Office at 808 Olive Street.

This was in line with the City of Texarkana Texas desire to have City sites downtown be improved to better represent the City as a whole. The exterior landscaping was completed gutted and redone at 801 Wood and 808 Olive, as well as the two buildings cleaned, and their stucco repaired to removed decades of moss and mildew growth. Also, a degraded and partially damaged fence was removed from the rear of 808 Olive and replaced with a new privacy fence, as well as decorative rock.
