2. Shrek the Musical – Silvermoon Children’s Theatre
April 24-26
“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” Thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy-tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek. Learn more!

3. CASA & TCAC Colorful 5K
Saturday, April 26
CASA and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center invite you to join them at Spring Lake Park on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. for their annual Colorful 5K. Learn more!
 

4. TSO MW IV – Laskarov and Saint-Saens
Saturday, April 26
A native of Bulgaria, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State Academy of Music in Sofia and a Master’s degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he studied with Prof. Michael Barta. Laskarov has appeared as a soloist with the Arkansas Symphony, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Conway (AR) Symphony, Southern Illinois Symphony, Abilene (TX) Philharmonic, Symphony Irvine (CA) and Texarkana (TX) Symphony and also as a concertmaster with the Monroe (LA) Symphony and McCall (ID) Festival Orchestra and assistant concertmaster with the Evansville (IN) Philharmonic and Scottsdale (AZ) MusicFest Orchestra. Learn more!

6. Move & Meditate

7. Music and Moves with Kay Shirley

Join us for Music & Moves led by local educator Kay Shirley! This class is designed for young children and blends playful movement with rhythms and music. It’s perfect for little learners to sing, dance and explore. Parents or guardians must stay for the duration of the class, but do not need to register. You only need one ticket per child.
