One of the best parts about living in a rural community are the animals that become our family. Pictured are Sweetie and Abbie, a pony and donkey who were inseparable on a small farm owned by Shelly Wells and her family in Redwater. When Sweetie passed away two months ago, Abbie was not far behind.
