Class of 2023

We celebrate and lift up the forty-five outstanding individuals representing all demographics and sectors of our community who have dedicated the past year to LT’s flagship program designed to engage and equip each participant for community leadership… with a breadth and depth of understanding of our community, coupled with understanding of the leadership imperatives required to effectively work together with others for community excellence, progress and pride for Texarkana, USA.

From the two-day opening retreat in September 2022 through the final session on May 2, 2023, the class has also been working in groups using Strategic Doing processes to pursue seven projects and outcomes on priority community issues of ensuring positive community narratives of excellence, attracting new audiences to all that is happening in Texarkana, and also for adding quality to places designed to attract individuals to downtown and Texarkana USA in general.

As reflected in individual class statements of plans for community leadership going forward, this is just the beginning for each member of the class… we are excited to see the roles they will be pursuing going forward for the whole of Texarkana, USA!
