3. Expressive Drawing with Kay Thomas
Thursday, January 16
Start out the New Year with trying new things! Kay Thomas will instruct participants with expressive drawing exercises, showcasing the use of lines, shapes, forms, and proportion. All materials will be provided by the artist and the arts center. Learn more!

 
4. Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest
Sunday, January 19
Think You’ve Got What It Takes? Join the Elks Hoop Shoot Contest! Calling all young sharpshooters ages 8-13! It’s your time to shine at the Elks Hoop Shoot, a FREE basketball free-throw competition open to all kids in the community. Learn more!

 
5. Valentines Candlestick with Chris Thomas

Join ceramic artist Chris Thomas for a Valentine’s Day-oriented ceramic activity. This class will meet Thursday, January 23 from 6 – 8pm in the Clay Eichler Ceramics Studio at TRAHC’s second space (518 Pine Street, Texarkana, TX 75501). Learn more!

 
6. 4 States Art Club Exhibition
Through February 22
All pieces were created by talented local artists – don’t miss the chance to see these beautiful pieces. The Regional Arts Center is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and, like all of TRAHC’s visual art exhibits, is FREE to the public. 7. TAAC Exhibition – Good Trouble Quilts
Through March 1
Sponsored by the TRAHC African American Committee (TAAC), Good Trouble Quilts: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Congressman John Lewis is an exhibition of 35 original quilted artworks that center around the work and impact of the Congressman. Learn more!
