2. 5th Annual JIVE FOR FIVE Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival

11 a.m.-7 p.m., Spring Lake Park. Join the thousands enjoying this one-of-its kind wine, art, music and food festival. FREE for all to enjoy the arts, food and music. 3rd Annual Golf Tournament benefiting For the Sake of One
Texarkana Golf Ranch, 9 a.m. shotgun start. Come out for a great day and support children who can’t speak up for themselves – benefiting this local nonprofit that helps the foster care community! Includes breakfast from Wendy’s and lunch from Big Jakes BBQ. Micah’s Jewelers is donating a watch for the long drive and mulligans and red tees will be available for $5 each. Choral Workshop with Dr Wallace Long
Texarkana College of Liberal and Performing Arts. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. with casual public performance at 4 p.m. A learning opportunity for the community at large, as well as chorale members. Long’s one-day workshop will take learners from the fundamentals of great choral sound production to the application of concepts learned in repertoire.
