2. Inauguration Day
Wednesday, January 20
The 46th President of the United States will be sworn in on Wednesday, Jan. 20 on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Both the vice president-elect and president-elect will take Oaths of Office, which takes place at 12PM ET, followed by an inaugural address. Here is a full list of inauguration events scheduled for this week. 

President-elect Biden is planning to host a memorial to remember and honor the lives lost to COVID-19 on Tuesday, Jan. 19 — the night before he is inaugurated president. A Washington, D.C., ceremony will feature a lighting around the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, and cities and towns are invited to illuminate buildings and ring church bells at 5:30 p.m. ET that day as part of a national moment of unity and remembrance.

3. Introduction to Adobe Illustrator – Texarkana College
Wednesday, January 20

Registration is now open for Introduction to Adobe Illustrator! In this course, students will gain an understanding of the usage of a vector based platform. Students will also receive an overview of all the tools in the tool palette, while focusing on the implementation of the most common and versatile tools. This knowledge will be put into practice as students will complete several small projects and have the opportunity to request instruction on specific tasks.

After you register, send Shea your pet photo at She will sketch out your pet and provide step by step instructions for painting your fur baby. 8. Murder Mystery Dinner at P.J. Ahern Home
Saturday, January 23

It’s Spring 1971 and someone has broken into the Federal Bureau of Investigation office in Media, Pennsylvania. FBI Director, J. Edgar Hoover, has called a press conference to reveal details of the investigation, but his report is interrupted by MURDER! Roy Bradbury- reporter for the notorious scandal sheet, EyeSpy- falls dead at Director Hoover’s feet! Law enforcement begins the hunt for the killer and you’re a suspect!
The party begins 6:00 p.m. on January 23 at the P. J. Ahern Home, 403 Laurel Street. Admission is $40 each or $35 for TMS members. Couple ticket is $70. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE. For more information, call 903-793-4831.
