TAC was founded in 1964 by Truman Arnold as a Texarkana, Texas-based Conoco Distributor of Gasoline and Diesel. Today, The Arnold Companies is among the largest fuel wholesalers and aviation service providers in the country. The company’s wholesale fuel division, TAC Energy, sells over 3 billion gallons of diesel, gasoline and jet fuel across the continental U.S. The company also operates through its aviation brand, TAC Air, which owns and operates 17 FBOs across the country and services a variety of private aircraft.
