2. Holiday Craft Event 
Tuesday, December 20
The Texarkana Recreation Center will host a craft class on Tuesday, December 20th with Tonja Taylor. Only thing needed is your time and creativity. Materials will be provided for you to create a beautiful instrument to help celebrate the Christmas Holiday Season. You will then learn simple moves about how to use the flags including “Sign Language” with flags. Learn what colors mean and enjoy the sounds of the holiday season as you work to create your flag. 3. Yule Ball
Wednesday, December 21
Join us for a revel on the Longest Night! Get out your fancy cloaks and finery and attend the first annual Yule Ball! Learn more.

 

4. Christmas Eve Eve Party at the Hideout
Friday, December 23
This will be a party you don’t want to miss! Music by DJ 50Cal. Must be 21 or older to enter establishment. Learn more!

6. New Year’s Eve Murder Mystery Dinner
Saturday, December 31
Join the Texarkana Museums System for our latest Murder Mystery Dinner at the P. J. Ahern Home, 403 Laurel Street in historic downtown Texarkana, USA. It’s 1955 and you’ve been invited to a New Year’s Eve Block Party! The guest list is full of respectable neighbors, but you spy a few suspicious characters! Are they planning something illegal? Are you the victim or a suspect? Find out on Saturday, December 31, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tickets are just $45 each or $40 for TMS Members or $80 for couples. Learn more!
 

7. 1968: A Folsom Redemption
Through January 7, 2023
Celebrating the landmark event, 1968: A Folsom Redemption is a collection of photographs and memories of two journalists lucky enough to be among a handful of eyewitnesses to the historic Johnny Cash concerts at Folsom State Prison. This candid and personal photography exhibition covers a critical juncture in the career of Johnny Cash, one of the twentieth century’s most beloved performers. Learn more!
 

8. Christmas Drive Thru at Texarkana College
Be sure to drive through the Texarkana College campus this December to see all of the holiday displays! There are thousands of lights and dozens of blow up Christmas displays. Learn more!
