1. Run the Line
Saturday, February 18
It’s that time of year again – when runners converge from all over the region in Texarkana USA to RUN THE LINE!  Join the fun, get in shape, AND help raise funds for the amazing network of pathways and greenways throughout our community! The Run the Line Half Marathon and Relays is a unique opportunity to run a half marathon in TWO states. It begins on Broad Street downtown and finishes in front of Hopkins Icehouse. 2. Texarkana Mardi Gras
Saturday, February 18

3. The Texarkana Repertory Company presents: The Play That Goes Wrong
LAST WEEKEND: February 17 – 19
Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, part Buster Keaton, and WHOLLY insane, The Play That Goes Wrong has been described as a “riotous explosion of comedy”. This silly slapstick-filled production is sure to be a hit! Join us at the Stilwell Theatre on the Texarkana College campus this February for The Play That Goes Wrong! Visit here for tickets.
 

4. TRAHC presents: The Magic of Bill Blagg LIVE
Thursday, February 16

The Magic of Bill Blagg LIVE! is a national touring full production show that is filled with grand-scale illusions, jaw-dropping magic, hilarious comedy and audience participation.  It’s best described as a Las Vegas style show that’s fun for the whole family!  You’ll see people will float in mid-air while others vanish in the blink of an eye!  Over 90 minutes of action-packed magic & illusion by the country’s most prominent magical star…Bill Blagg. The Texarkana Museums System invites you to celebrate Postcards from the Past: The Story of African American George Strong in Texarkana’s Most Iconic Postcard at the Ace of Clubs House at 420 Pine St. in historic downtown Texarkana, USA. Join us on February 18th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm for a presentation by Museum Curator, Jamie Simmons on the life of George Strong. Learn more!

10. 21st Annual Regional Celebration of African American Artists Exhibit: Ernest C. Withers Collection, Good Night, My Love
Through March 25

This photography exhibition features work from the iconic worldwide photojournalist, Ernest C. Withers, who recorded African American history in the segregated South for over sixty years. His vast collection contains some of the most significant Civil Rights Movement activities. Withers’ ever-present three cameras captured moments of change, conflict, classic, community, bravery, courage, determination, innocence, inspiration, and love. With the added local representation from photographer Barbara Pitts Riley, and a High School Cell Phone photography competition, this exhibition details significant history lessons with glimpses of the past, present, and future. Learn more!
