1. TRAHC’s Art Gauntlet
Saturday, August 26

On Saturday, August 26th, TRAHC will host the Art Gauntlet. This free event for students will have an art station located on each floor of our building. Artists currently exhibiting in TRAHC’s 35th Annual Juried Exhibition will be leading students in an art activity related to their work in the exhibition. Learn more! 

2. Design Downtown Regional Art Contest
September 1 – November 3

The City of Texarkana, Texas is excited to announce the Design Downtown Regional Art Contest to be held this fall in downtown Texarkana. Residents of Miller, Bowie, and Cass counties will be able to submit renderings of a downtown Texarkana building, public space, or stretch of property in the Arts & Historic District. Learn more!

3. Weekly Cornhole Tournament
Wednesday, August 23
Bring a friend and join the cornhole fun! Warmups begin at 6PM. Tournament starts at 7PM. You can sign up early or when you show up at the door. Brought to you by Texarkana Cornhole Association and The Hideout. Learn more!

5. Friends of the Library Book Sale
August 25 – 26

Check out the Friends of the Library Book Sale Aug 25-26 – at their new location 2024 State Line Ave. Txk AR – and make a purchase that turns into resources for our Texarkana Public Library downtown! 
 

6. Twin City Pickleball Tournament
Saturday, August 26

Join us for an exciting day of pickleball action in collaboration with Twin City CrossFit and The Sportsplex! Whether you’re a seasoned pickleball pro or a first-time player, this tournament promises a day of camaraderie, competition, and lots of fun! Learn more.
